Authentic Beauty Project

Thank you for your interest in Burton Photography's Authentic Beauty Project. Please follow @burtonphotographyseniors on IG so that you can stay up to date with posts about the project. Together, we can rewrite the definition of beauty that currently exists in mass media and social media.Authentic Beauty Project is open to current high school students. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Oasis, Inc - non-profit serving survivors of domestic and sexual violence.  Please bring your $20 donation to your session.
Please prepare in advance a brief statement on what you think makes a person beautiful. Bring that with you to your session. We'll be sharing participants' portraits and statements of beauty on our Instagram and Facebook pages on May 29. You'll receive a digital file of your portrait to share on your own social media.  
You'll wear jeans + a solid black or solid white top to the session. The emphasis is on your natural beauty so we're requesting minimal make-up and natural hair.Use the form below to select a time for your Authentic Beauty Project session. Arrive a few minutes early for your session. We only have 15 minutes set aside for each session and won't want to miss a single second of working with you. Sessions are available on either Saturday, April 30, or Tuesday, May 3 (use the arrow on the calendar to advance to the May sessions).Please note that if you are under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must complete the e-signature in the model release.Our studio is located at 166 Chapel Hills Rd., Boone. You'll park in the front and walk down the driveway to the entrance in the back.We can't wait to work with you!
