Thrift Fashion Challenge

The challenge is open to the Class of 2022 seniors and 2023 juniors. 

Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Watauga High School Student Council. 

Winners will be announced on October 3rd and prizes will be awarded!

Your outfit can be something you would wear to school, out to a party, when you are trying to "fit in" or when you are trying to "stand out".

Contest Rules:

Shop for your outfit between September 1-23. You have a $30 spending limit (you don't have to include tax in your total). You must bring your receipts when you come to your fashion photoshoot. You'll be asked for the brand name (if known) and the price of each article of clothing.

You are permitted to include ONE article of clothing OR a pair of shoes in your outfit that you did not purchase for this challenge.

Alterations to any purchased garment IS allowed.

Your outfit will be judged taking into consideration creativity, color harmony, use of accessories, impact attention-getting, and thriftiness.

Arrive a the time you signed up for your mini fashion shoot in your Thrift Store ensemble. (September 23 or 24). The location of the photoshoot will be the area in front of Watauga High School. We'll be shooting rain or shine since we have a covered area to work.

Use the form below to select a time for your mini fashion photoshoot.  We require a $25 entry fee to complete this booking. If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must complete the e-signature in the model release.
